Reg. 'GT03 ???' on a red/white GT3 RS in for servicing at Porsche Reading/Porsche GB on Wednesday, also had matching BBS LMs and a Monza (?) 2004 stickers on the rear side windows.. Anyone from the board? :confused:

Yep Thats Tim's car. It's not a Monza sticker, it's from the Spa trip in may.

Porsche GB has a nice selection of cars in their showroom, ranging from the 550, Turbo flatnose, a 356C coupe and a 968 Dauer, in Rothmans colours!

I fell in love with the SlateGrey GT2 they got there... :D

If at all possible please post the picture, I didn't manage to get any pictures, I read somewhere that they don't appreciate it/condem (sp?) pictures being taken... :confused:

Yeah, we planned to head for an East End dealership, but decided at the last moment to visit Porsche Reading instead, the salesmen were a little cocky for it being the HQ of Porsche GB...

I'm eager to know how low will they go to budge that GT2. Anyone know anything more about the discounts offered, how far they'll be allowed to discount etc?

It must have a fair few options fitted to justify £6k over base price.

I can't see them selling it at that price when 1-2 year old GT2s with under 10,000 miles are available for £40k less...................

Sorry I was moving as I took it. This was on an open day with many cars such as a GT1 and 956 on display. I will go in with my dad on a weekend if you like.

Tell the salesmen, that there's a prospective buyer interested and is aware of the car sitting in the showroom for many months and is wondering what discounts could be possible. ;)

I will try and go in but you should email their sales person. I'll find the address. Why not offer them £120k and see what they say.
