This car was booked in to get some protection from all that winter motoring can throw at a vehicle, its only use as a weekend car but still was in a bit of a state for a 08 especially the amount of bonded contamination :tumbleweed:

On arrival:

First job was the wheels, using Auto Smart, smart wheels and a array of brushes, to clean front, inner, claipers and hubs:

Arches treated with APC and scrubbed:

Wash stage now, and the first job was to treat the lower half of the car with our own Citrus TFR, Arches with APC and foam with another of our own products citrus foam, rinsed down and washed TBM with Dodo Born to be mild and a Zymql sponge:

Some lower parts of the car had some Tar bonded on so Tardis was used to remove these:

So time to get teh paint silky smooth, it felt like sand paper to the touch  so out with the Dodo grey clay (this stuff is the best clay i have ever come across honestly) and megs last touch as the lube, taking 3 hits on the up facing panels:

After the front wing :

After half the bonnet:

The paint needed alittle freshening up (please note this is not a "correction detail" so this was not going for 100% perfect correction) however my line up was Lime prime on a polishing pad, i find this stuff excellent on the harder paint types, it removes light swirls and defects pretty good and (as long as you work it right through) finishes down well:

LSP on this occasion was Dodo Juice SN V2, iv been getting some great results from a double coat of this on my van and test cars and the finish is first class :thumb: You shall see :D

And a few other bits and bobs like, glass treated with G-tec G1, tail pipe trims polished with autosol and WW, tyres dressed with Megs endurance gel (still not found any thing to beat this old school fave) arches with Auto Smart Finish, then a final buff:

The first version was a little behind on durability, however this new V2 has done very well in my own tests, 18 washes, and 3 months, ( i tend to rate durability by wash not time) 2-3 months is what you can expect from a "proper" natural wax, some of the hybreed waxes are basically sealants with the same ingredients, these dont feed the paint as well altho they have some Carnauba in them the % you see is of wax content, this stuff Carnauba based and also beeswax amoung lots natural oils etc and the finish is one of the best IMO,
