Right - this fell off my car when I went to fill up.........
I'm pretty sure it off somewhere within the fuel filler area.
Unfortunately my back is so bad and my sciatica so painful I can't bend down to refit it, and in any case I can't see obviously where it should go.

Can you help me with this mystery piece of plastic !? :)

Simon,

It's part No 996 624 505 02 called a Guide Rose...

It fits over the pin that locks you fuel cover when the car is locked...sort of like a gromet for your shaft... :D Item No 12

Don't have one, guess the previous owner lost it and never bothered to replace it

I found that the central locking bolt that locks up the petrol filler cap makes a really annoying noise when activated without the offending plastic grommet thing, doesnt yours Scott ?

Glad to hear it Scott.....I thought I was sharing this forum with a bunch of girly tee total shirtlifters. You need a stinking cuzzer to sort you out, then sweat out the toxins in bed tonight and you'll be right as reign tomorrow morning :)

Take the Missis Scott, she will love it - guaranteed brownie points :)

Spent a few nights out with Jason Hunt (owner of the Crazy Bear) years ago. He is insane.

Done well with that old pub of his though. Last time I spoke to him he was buying a RR Phantom!

They have Crazy Bears in Beaconsfield (big ££ area) and in London now too. I'd say they were doing alright for themselves :)

Keep meaning to go the Crazy Bear, because as you say its reputation is superb. As for Le Manoir's - never been and probably won't before we move - I need to club all my money together for the new mortgage LOL :D
