I put on a a performance air filter and fabspeed cold air kit on three weeks ago. Wasn't expecting any performance gain, just a crisper throttle response and a bit more noise - both of which I intially gained.
Now this weekend I drove the car and it seems more sluggish, in 2nd and 3rd especially - I've checked the filter etc and all seems fine.
Any ideas??

Is the air filter oiled, like a K+N?
If so, some oil may have left the filter and coated the MAF sensor causing problems?

Did you disconnect the battery to allow the ECU to reset itself?
Is it a K&N or a BMC F1? I've heard about K&N's having too much oil on them and 'crapping' all over the MAF sensor.
Have you changed the type of fuel recently?

Yep it's oiled and is the BMC F1.
No, always Optimax.
Felt back to normal today

I have the same Fabspeed CAI with the F1, sometimes I remove it other times I don't. Although some days the car does feel faster :D
