Hiya,

Just a few bits to ask if thats okay.

1. are you running standard suspension on your CS? if not is it 993?

2. If so is the suspension recommended to soften the front the stock 993 or RS?
3. And a long shot, do you know of any web sites that show exactely the various colours the RS club sport was produced in ? I have the names/paint codes from an old 911 variants book by peter Morgan but wanted to see them in the flesh.

Don't worry there will be more questions to bore you nearer my purchase.

..Thx Ian.

[QUOTE=Sutters]Hiya,

My car was purchased with 993rs front struts. I changed back to 964rs front struts as the car is used only for track days.

2. If so is the suspension recommended to soften the front the stock 993 or RS? The front shocks are the 993rs front shocks not the standard 993 shocks. Springs remain the same.

Don't worry there will be more questions to bore you nearer my purchase.

So no idea of a colour chart out there at all? What colours yours?

Mines black, no idea where you would find the colour listing, but all colour variants were produced from the usual 964rs pallet, i.e Guards, Maritime, Sun yellow, black, white, rubystone, viper green, mint green etc...

Your best option if you do decide to go this route is to buy on condition rather than colour.

Sutters, go see my post "GT3 = Bargain". I`ve known you for 4 to 5 years now and I think the 964RS is not the car for you.

Mr Sutters
I could be persuaded to part with my Mk1 GT3 as it may release up funds for my new venture.

2001 MK1 GT3 RHD only one in Lapis Blue. 1st owner was Steve O'Rourke of EMKA Racing, it was his road car for all of 3700 miles. He was Nick Mason & Pink Floyd's manager until his untimely death in Oct 2003.

E-mail me on uktrucks@msn.com if you want to ask questions

Just checked out Sean Lockyears Specilists Cars but I didn`t find any pics of the 993 GT2.

I believe the black GT2 has been re-shelled and painted a different colour to the one it was when new. I looked at a red RHD one before I bought a 996GT2, it was nearly £100k and wanted a lot of TLC.
