    Default iPod question ?

iTunes only lets you download all your tunes to one iPod yes ?

So what happens if you lose it or it gets nicked ?

Can you just buy another iPod and sync it back up with your iTunes and get all your music back ?

    I am puzzled ?

Moz you an create a separate profile for each different device, we currently have 7 devices on iTunes. You can select what content you want on each device; music, app's, movies etc.

What you can't do is sync your device to two different iTune libraries........

Ok, so what if your device gets lost/nicked/breaks ?

How do you dump your iTunes library onto another one ?

You plug it in and Sync your new device to your existing iTunes Library.

Ok so whats to stop you having all your iTunes on one iPod, then just copying it over and over onto a load of iPod's ?

    You can only copy from

    iTunes >> iPod
You can do this infinitely on as many devices as you want, but the iTunes you copied from will take ownership of the device. If they are all your units, this shouldn't be a problem.

    You cannot copy from

    iPod >> iTunes

Except with after-market software, free ones get you 300 songs transferred.

If you buy one for about £35 you can also edit the music itself, so if you have a track that is great for 4 mins of the 8 or 9 it runs, you can fade it out correctly.
